Erwin Marton (I) – France

Beyond the technical skill – which allowed the photographer to create a favorable compensation between the dark areas of the composition and the marbled luminous parts of the model’s body – one would wonder if the Flemish master Peter Paul Rubens, anachronistically swapping his brush for a lens, would not produce such a lush and endearing photographic composition as that created by Marton.

Au-delà de l’habileté technique – qui a permis au photographe de créer une compensation favorable entre les zones sombres de la composition et les parties lumineuses marbrées du corps du modèle – on se demanderait si le maître flamand Peter Paul Rubens, troquant anachroniquement son pinceau pour un objectif, ne produirait pas une composition photographique aussi luxuriante et attachante que celle créée par Marton.
